Article title: Uniting generations through shared laughter: The story of Saeed Saleh and Arab theatre

In a world full of rapid events and diverse challenges, shared laughter remains the universal language that brings together people of all ages and cultures. Among the Arab comedians who were able to achieve this lofty goal, the name Saeed Saleh stands out as one of the distinguished artists who left a mark in the theaters of Arab art.

Saeed Saleh was a prominent Egyptian comedian. He was born in 1938 and disappeared in 2014 after a life full of creativity and brilliance. Saleh is known for his combination of comedy and serious topics And immortal theatrical texts, which made him an icon of laughter and fun on the Egyptian and Arab artistic scene.

My journey with Saeed Saleh and his impact on generations began when I watched the play “School of Rioters” on a school stage. As a child, I could not understand all the details of the play and the political and social jokes that Saleh and his colleagues used. But what stuck in my mind was the constant laughter that echoed around during the play.

Years later, while discussing cultural and artistic topics with my generation, I remember their reaction when Saeed Saleh's name was mentioned. Opinions varied between appreciation and admiration for his art and his influence on Arab theatre, and amazement and astonishment at his ability to unite young and old with laughter and joy.
